,it takes two attempts to get it in gear . when its in it dosent jump out . the gearbox was totally rebuilt this year so im hoping its in the linkage . would a stretched cable cause this . any ideas . cheersdifficult to get in 4th gear

difficult to get in 4th gear
I was driving pretty hard and 4th gear has gone funny ,it takes two attempts to get it in gear . when its in it dosent jump out . the gearbox was totally rebuilt this year so im hoping its in the linkage . would a stretched cable cause this . any ideas . cheers

Check the C clips that hold the cables to the brackets first.
