Its my first post.help.....steam!

Hi im new to this so please bear with me.ive just had a replacment 3sge engine fitted when it starts to warm up theres quite alot of steam coming from the exaust.its abit like when you start a car on a cold day(but not as bad).once warm on idle theres very little vapor.but when the cars reved or under load theres some whitish vaporish smoke .it smells more fuel related than oily.ive done a compression test.and eveything is ok.any ideas.thanks

Has the exhaust sat arou d at all, got water in it?

As pete said, if the exhaust has been sat around and has water in it. Can take a very long time to get rid of the water. I nice long journey get the zaust up to working temperature. That'll do it.

Most of the time it just needs a good drive

If I leave mine sitting a couple of weeks it doesn't like it, just need to warm the old girl up again

Just get driving it mate, get it warm and then get ragging it let it bed in good 😉
