The red outlet/inlet, where does it run to?
It is a hard pipe, running along the side of the block.
Ignore the pics. I know the catch can should be on the head drain (blue)
I have looked through the BGB and have drawn a blank.
Any ideas?

Might be way off but doesn't that go to the throttle body?
Re: What goes on here? Rev 3 3SGTE engine
I have no idea at all, mate. Will try and trace it back to source.
Cheers.

Re: What goes on here? Rev 3 3SGTE engine
I think I remember it going into a sensor now. Will check and let you know tomoz but actually think it was to the AC idle valve.
Re: What goes on here? Rev 3 3SGTE engine
Ahh. If it is more crap for the A/C idle up, then that would make sense.
As the car does appear to be happy enough without it.
If you can find out that would be great, mate.

Re: What goes on here? Rev 3 3SGTE engine
its the tvsv pipe
not related to a/c
if your running a boost controller, you dont need it hooked to anything.
the pictures above show no tvsv solenoid either, so i take it that has been removed??
that ground strap has been bolted to one of the bolts used to hold the tvsv solenoid.
the normal location for that ground is the free hole on the right hand side of your picture.

Re: What goes on here? Rev 3 3SGTE engine
Thanks, Jim.
Yeah it has been removed by the previous owner. He was and I will be, running an EBC.
When I bolted the ground strap that is the only appropriately sized hole I could find, laying on my back.
Thanks again, mate.
