REV 3 Turbo - Injectors (Question)

Post by CRAIGROBBO »

Hi All,

Can anyone advise if the REV 3 Injectors were low or high impedance type?..

I know the REV 1 & 2 were LOW and they had the booster pack to up the signal back to the ECU.

Basically im running Syvecs ECU so the booster pack has been deleted from my loom, But the Syvecs does not support LOW impedance injectors.

I have ordered a full Top Feed kit along with ID1000 injectors but they are not coming for another 7-10 days and wondered if there is a quick swap option in the mean time?...

Cheers Craig

Standard injectors were low impedance, which is why there is the resistor pack in the stock engine bay,

Sard 850's are high impedence which requires the bypassing of the stock resistor pack when running power fc etc

Unless you already have a top feed rail then your options are extremely limited, and probably not worth bothering with since your mapper (jamie at evotune from what I read on your other thread) would just have to re-remap when the ID ones come

You could wire in resistors to run low Z injectors, but not really worth it
