Advan avs-vs5 valve stem options

Post by azznwab »

Hi I've brought some advan avs-vs5 17" and have all the tyres changed to suit the 2, but they didn't change the vavles because they say there high pressure valves, and guess what there leaking all 4 of them. What i want to know is if i can have these replaced with run of mill standard valves or do i have to buy special ones. I would list some pics but dont know how

Thanks all in advance

Ps are all rev 3 turbos used daily such high maintenance ](*,)

Are the valves straight or do a ninety degree bend exiting the rim. There are valves that relay pressure to inside the cabin which is good regards low profile tyres. Perhaps look to ebay? some one with these wheels might put pic up.

the valve stem is a straight stem that does have a 90 degree flat face to the wheel and stem end where cap screws on if that makes sense. I don't know if these were originally fitted from new, and like the thought of having the valve stems changed every time I have tyres changed at little cost.

I have tried to insert pictures through photo bucket but not aloud because not enough posts
