Garages / Mechanics in the Northwest to replace N/A clutch? (Rochdale)

So I've bought my first MR2, absolutely fantastic car until last week when the clutch jammed and now wont disengage - despite all the hydraulics working fine.

Most local garages are refusing to touch the MR2 and the others are quoting ridiculous prices.

So do any members know of any garages local to Rochdale, Manchester which would be able to do the job?

And are Exedy clutch kits any good? Price is £65 from GSF but garages are quoting the parts at £100 +?!
