Best tyre pressure for Rev2 / Rev3 Turbo

Post by Rob »

What's the best tyre pressure for a Rev2 or Rev3 Turbo for general road use people?

Running 17" tyres if it makes any difference.....

Cheers

all depends on weight loading of the tyre

compare stock to your specific tyre and size
there are tables online you can look at.

but give or take a psi JD is pretty much on the money.

There isn't really a right answer to your question, it depends on the type/size of tyres fitted and road conditions. I'd start with the factory pressures which are 2bar front and 2.3bar rear, then add or subtract a little pressure and see how it effects the handling, braking and ride quality until you find a setting you're happy with. In the summer I prefer slightly higher pressures 2.1bar and 2.4bar with my 16" Toyo T1R's, but in this colder wetter weather I've reduced the pressures back to standard.
