well alien - simple... it wires in to your cutrosey light switches and your sidelights...

run a wire from the fidelight on the drivers side through the front boot, through the gromity in the drivers footwell.... take your next wire from the courtesy light switch... run it under the trim on the drivers door sill mebbe need to dind an earth... you can get one off the metal bracket where the hifi goes... and that sunshine should be all your inputs, connect as necessary and secure your bleeper...

oh and do try to remember reversing trucks also male beep beep beep noises so do look out

iirc maplins used to do one of these...

failing which my g/f's focus has quite a nice chime chime chime in it.... or what about cutting the sonar chime out of an mr2 automatic.... when the slushbox sw20's are in reverse.... they make a pleasing sound...

which my dad thought was a parking sensor - till he twatted it off the carpark wall

Yeap I did exactly the same #-o

My MR2 has a bing bing noise already there when you open the doors with the lights on, which i figured was fitted by mrT himself

you'll probably find that it has just been unplugged (its a small connector behind the ignition barrel-not too difficult to do) HTH

Hmm... instead of a nice "bing bing" my (US) tubby makes a horrible loud *BEEEEEEEEEEP* when I don't have my seatbelt on. Unfortunately, I normally start the car and then put it on, so I always have to listen to it whine... What's worse: there's no beep when I forget to turn off the lights! Still planning on changing that beep from seatbelt warning to lights-on warning, if only I knew how :P
