I was going to say 1100 quid (it's current bid) is expensive, however it only needs a wing, new bomex bumper and light pod - the bonnet should pull out.

Maybe 500 quid max to spend.

It's pushed the internals in on the corner so I'd be inclined to go see it in the flesh before thinking of bidding just to see what the damage is, but it could be a cheap motor especially if it's not been recorded.

Has nice alloys, nice stainless exhaust, T-bar, private plate etc etc.

Nice find.

Not sure if I would touch it. Its got a Rev 2 steering wheel but a Rev 1 gearstick. Its also mouldy. For the price of the damaged car and then the price to do it up and clean the interior you could probable buy yourself a clean Rev 1 car that hasnt been trashed. The mods are worth a bit but personally I would prefer to buy an unmollested tubby. It also needs a new stereo. And its come from an insurance company and its very very likely to have been recorded as a write off. I wonder what price this breaker got the car from the insurance company for??? I bet it wasnt more than a few hundred max.

Might be a rev 1/2 wiring on a rev 3 engine = will still need the AFM. Did that with a celica Gt4 once, stuck a late engine in a rev1 wiring setup. Worked well too ! :D

But they'd of retrofitted the stock rev 1/2 injectors to the rev 3 rail and early ECU to it as well wouldn't they? - seems like a lot of work to me thats all lol
