Gearbox differences

Post by Gullzter »

Im stuck on something here, looking into a spare gearbox for the turbo.
I know that there are some lsd and some non-lsd, now does abs make a difference to the box itself?
What about different revisions ie would an Lsd box fit both a rev1/2 and rev3/4/5 generation?
Thanks

Perfect, what about abs and traction control?
Do they just require different hubs or would these be different driveshafts aswell?

Its in a mk3 so not sure about that. Pretty sure ABS rings pick up off the outer cvs as I imagine TC will as well.

My turbo shafts had no abs rings so I just used the ones off my mk3 cv's. I've heard inner cv's are different between LSD and non LSD but they must be interchangeable one way as I ran the same shafts and cv's with and without LSD.
