Rev 1 turbo speedo cluster into Rev 2

Hi all. I need to put a new speedo cluster into my Rev 2 turbo. I have been offered a cluster from a Rev 1 turbo. Is it compatible with my car?

I think you'll find the rev 1 has a mechanical drive for the speedo, where as rev 2 on uses an electronic speedo drive.

Easy to spot which is which if you take a look at the back of a rev 1 cluster you'll see the threaded sleeve poking out where the cable is attached for the mechanical drive.
