wiring inside A pillar

Post by drunknmunky »

Hi guys,
noticed after removing the A pillar trim that the thin black wire that runs up inside is snapped, can anyone tell me what it is for please?
Thanks

Hmmm - that could have been installed aftermarket for some form of aerial by a previous owner. Or it could be the wiring for the courtesy lights - check they work from the buttons and with the doors.

Meh... there's no other stock wiring up that way AFAIK, unless you somehow have a RHD USDM chassis??

I'm guessing an aftermarket alarm sensor? If there isn't one then may have been pulled off when removing one?

As above, sounds like an aftermarket alarm sensor wire.
