Azul RZR Alloy Wheels - 17inch 215 fronts / 235 rear

Post by l1ca »

Bit of a regretful sale, due to taking my build in a slightly different direction and ultimately not needing 2 sets of wheels, im putting up for sale my AZUL RAZR wheels

They look absolutely awesome on the MR2 and have a very JDM look to them, I was going to run these as my 'Winter wheels' but they are far too nice for this, and if i do decide to get some winter shoes ill just go to some stock rev 3 wheels.

Wheel Details:

• Bronze / Chrome Lip
• 17 Inch
• 7j
• 215/40/17 x 2 (Fronts)
• 235/40/17 x 2 (Rears)
• ET40
• No marks, chips or curbing, each wheel is straight.

They fit the front flush, but for the rears - they dont need but could do with - at most a 10mm spacer to get these stuck out a little more, its not a big deal but something that you could do if flushness is your thing.

All tyres have at least 6mm of tread on them and will come with correctly fitting spigot rings.

The car is currently located at Sbits in Barnsley, however if needed id be happy to arrange a courier, id only ever use Paisley Freight at £30.50 for all 4 delivered to your door.

Barnsley's not too far for me. 7J front, 8J rear? Or are all 7J?

They are overall 7j, which isn't a bad thing so long as the tyres are correctly staggered, which these ones are.

I don't wona poop on your thread. But these are not staggered then are they?

Especially when the title reads 'properly staggered'
You can't really call wheels staggered if it's only the tyres.

Oh my mistake, Ive always been under the assumption that if your rear tyres are wider than you have a staggered setup. Whereas if you have both wider wheels and wider tyres on the rear then you have a double staggered setup.

Also I never once said the wheels where staggered, only tyres, read the thread properly ;)

For your information... when they refer to wheels, they actually mean rims (as per the first sentence in the description). In the case of the MR2 Mk2, a typical stagger has an inch difference between front and back allowing you to mount staggered tyres correctly to them. http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/tyre- ... 60146.html

Double staggered wheels are where you have different sized rim widths and rim diameters, e.g. 15x6" at the front and 16x7" at the back like the MR2 mk3 rev2.

Great info Reggie, thanks :thumleft:

Nice to have this explained clearly, there seems to be a lot of confusion around at what signifies staggered.

I've always thought
staggered = wider tyres.
Double staggered = wider wheels and tyres

I hadn't even considered throwing different diameter of wheels into the mix... Urmm triple staggered

Anyway back on track. Wheels for sale yadda yadda

^ What he said,

Staggered wheels, eg 17x7 fronts, 17x8 rears
Double staggers wheels, eg 16x7 fronts 17x8 rears

Tyres do not factor in to staggered or double staggered wheels. :thumleft:
