Rev 3 or 4 ?
I've got a P Reg UK NA car.
How do I tell which Revision it is?

Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
I believe the Rev 4 onwards got the standard Toyota clear indicators but maybe wrong?

The only thing I know of is that some Rev 4's were 2 tone although I don't know how many colours were in the range etc

Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
My old car was a P reg NA and it was a rev3, had amber and clear front indicators, no airbag wheel, no egr etc.

Seatbelts said 1996 iirc though.

Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
That's a good point.
If it's a Rev 4 it'll have an EGR valve

If it's a UK rev4, yes.

If it's a JDM rev4, no.

Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
Thanks.
.
does certanily have the high level brake light so Rev 4 it is

Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
The only way to 100% confirm it is to check your chassis number.

Anything physically on your car now could have been changed after it left the factory.

As said on a P its rev4

sorry m8, but my rev 3 n/a had a 3rd brake light, so does my rev 3 tubby
Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
I thought the third brake light was an import feature?
Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
I believe it was but if it's the same as the Gen 6 Celica idea then when they facelifted then in approx 96 they added the 3rd brakelight so I'm guessing iit's probably the same as the Mr2 only Rev 3 became Rev 4 which would be when they added the EGR valve etc?

Re: Rev 3 or 4 ?
UK cars had third brake lights too.
But IFAIK, the imports got them earlier
(I think UK cars didn't get them until rev4).
