Next to the throttle cable there is a little Allen key bolt with a nut on it, I noticed it was loose the other day and tightened it up... Or so I thought. Opened the engine lid this morning to find it gone, how important is it?

Looks like a throttle stop screw probably M6 OR M5 thread,
is tickover same perhaps its controlled on the cable and stop screw is idle insurance.
