I really have no good reason to sell this car, other than a local member is selling his rev5 tin top and considering I want to use my MR2 as a back up track car would be more suited.
I advertised this car a while ago as it needed a fair bit of work doing for its MOT, I've spent a small fortune getting it welded up and getting it through MOT so I am making a loss here but I'm only really interested in flogging it to forum members, eBay is too much hassle these days. Anyway,Good Bits: - Just had all the inner rear arches/boot welded on both sides- Floor and seatbelt reinforcement has been cut and re-welded for MOT.- The car drives great, motor doesn't burn oil, no knocks or rattles etc - Every service stamp in the book (Cambelt done twice) - Decent staggered Hankook tyres all round (Fronts are newish, rear 40%) - Yellowstuff pads & grooved discs (rears yet to be fitted)- Full Leather interior (looking a bit old) - The sills themselves are quite solid, you can jack the car up on them no problem at all. - Private plate "A1 2 MKG" - Kenwood headunit (ipod/mp3), sony component speakers etc- Osram nightbreakers- Crystal sidelights- Recent diff seals and gearbox oil refresh- Wrapped T-bars (can be removed)- K&N Induction kit (stock can be fitted if wanted)Bad Bits: - Thin strip of metal on the sills have dents in them, I think its been jacked wrong or something but it passes MOT fine, and also the fact they havn't crumbled shows they aren't rusted through!- Engine oil leak (Common with '2s I know but I will try get it sorted)- Interior a bit tired but I've seen worse- Rear arch slight paint crackingI would be after a quick sale as its only this one specific car I'm after so
