The car has been standing for 3 years so I understand it being a bit sluggish. I put half a tank of fuel in and drove it a few miles, then took it to work where I'll drive it to its mot this afternoon! Now the car still is really sluggish at pulling away, owning a mr2 before I know how it's meant to feel. What I wanna know is does anyone have any idea what it could be? It's revving quite high
( 2and a half k ) but I have adjusted the throttle cable before so will try that again, also it never wants to tick over when you first start, needs to get warm a little.So.
.. Old dirty fuel? I have changed plugs, oil and oil filter but not leads! Any help would be great guys
