air con problems

help
problem on mr2 n/a 1998 air con rattles when i try to use it rattle from compressor area want to keep air con
helps keep car dry in winter has anyone replaced air con pump or bought a recon unit any idea prices??

Sounds like compressor bearing. About £200 reconditioned. Plus gas evacuation and regas charges.
