I went TOTB last year was a good day. But u want to be low 11's to even compete.

Not at all, not in the RWD category. Check out the results from the TOTB website. The 2nd fastest on one of the days was a certain black & yellow MR2 that hit 11.4s. The winner was the high 10s Granada.

With regards to my own car, have you even read about it? I have had a set of forged Wossner pistons ready and waiting for a whole year in case the cylinder pressures get too high for the stock ringlands. I have been running 1.5 bar on a T78 all last season, and I have been mapping cars for years

Yes, of course the stock pistons are going to go sooner or later, such is the nature of the game. This is waaaaaay off topic though. TOTB dude? You in?

He's after buying my mr2 that certain black and yellow cars owner. And last year was a poor turn out. I wouldent consider it without running consistant low 11's. I got 12.5 @117 but I had no grip 1st and 2nd. Its harder than it looks. Then my cv joint smashed. Was a bad day hahaha. Simon from Yvs performance was doing 10.4 - 10.5 all day. But he won't enter his mr2 as much as I've asked him.

Well, each to their own buddy. You don't need to run any time to enter plus there are three disciplines involved: Drag, top speed & handling, so it's definitely not just about the 1/4 mile ET. We need cars set up for track with 300bhp just as much as a 500bhp 2.2 running 10s. I was only running 12s@115mph in the 4wd class where there were two cars in the 8s, and shedloads in the 9s, yet I had an amazing weekend with good mates, good food & good beer. Plus, I was the only Pulsar entered and even heard someone say it was their favourite car there as I lined up. That was worth the entry fee alone given some of the machinery on show

I hit 1.8s 60fts all day long. Learn to launch your car and you'll be hitting mid 11s easily. Two-step & Hoosiers. Job done. Put your name down and make your car faster hahaha!

P.S. Put your time in the 1/4 mile section

Wrinkle wall dot drag tyres will be allowed on all sub 11sec cars

My stock pistons took 4 years of abuse between 1.2 to 1.4bar until one day one developed a small crack.

Too much chin scratching people! Names on the list please, even if you're only mildly interested at this point. As I've already stated, the RWD class is WIDE OPEN based on last year. The SXOC look to be putting together a strong team for 2013 however...

Going back a few years now, IIRC got about 315bhp out of the stock CT20b with supporting mods on stock internals.
