Yeah, it's a japspeed.

I think the 4.5" tips are a bit OTT, I may weld on some smaller ones.

I personally would have spent a bit more and got a quality Mongoose system if you wanted a twin exit.

Much better quality.

I would have also forked out for a Berk de-cat with flexi built in. That downpipe will crack.

My rev3 I'm breaking had a Toyosports/ebay/Xspower downpipe on it and it was patched, braced, welded all over the place when I removed it

i have been looking at this, is it the flexi that makes the berk better? or is it reinforced? :-k :-k

if its the flexi, i noticed you can get 3" flexi's off ebay, and it got me thinking of getting a tig welding mate of mine at work to do me the honours and cut/inset one in one of the cheap decats.....

i have not done anything as yet though .... xmas/work keeping me busy

Not just the flexi, the Berk downpipe's fabrication/welding finish is excellent in comparison with the ebay ones. It will also last a hell of a lot longer too.

I wouldn't bother trying to weld in a flexi to a cheap downpipe, just get the Berk. Job done. :thumleft:

I have a full xspower system. The delivered cat has been on it years and only had a tiny crack in it when I got it and no more.

It's a pipe with 2 flanges on it.

Where the hell did you have to repair it all over the place?

I'm guessing you are 40 years old or more so probably bought it 10-20 years ago and as such maybe the quality has improved.

It will all be made in China with their crap stainless steel and as said before give it a year and the decat will have cracks all over it. I have 5 of them sitting here to be welded, but they are going in the bin.

Where did they crack? Different places or in the same place?

I'm 30 thanks, and I never repaired it, it was on the car when I bought it and started breaking it.

You can't defend ebay exhausts, down pipes, turbos etc etc. They're all cheap crap mass produced in china with manufacturing costs of 0.99p.

I don't understand why people fit cheap tat to their car. Just buy a quality product to start with.

Maybe it's because I'm a student and it's all I could afford. I obviously didn't know the more you spend the better quality you get.

Please continue to show off about how much money you have to spend on your car and talk down my new purchase.

not a bad price, I got rid of mine because it hurt esp. at motorway speeds, but each to their own!
