[FINALIZED] 1998, Toyota MR2, £650, rev 4, Huddersfield Almostcomplete MrT Service history

Model: 2.0 UK spec rev4 gti 16v, Azure blue (rare colour) Manual non import.

Good condition interior no real signs of use to show it's mileage. 2 owners including myself from new, Serviced with Toyota dealerships up until 180k. Cambelt done at 182k along with clutch. New recent front calipers, handbrake cables, Alternator. Replaced rear bumper and sprayed after an incident with a post.
No rust in arches but a few marks and scuffs and stone chips along the way. Has been my daily for around 7 years, driven mainly on the motorway. Still goes well and generally passes first time on the MOT.
Rev 4 means it gets the afterburner lights and clear indicators as standard, no other real differences.
Other bits that can go with it for extra are the turbo decklid, american indicator sidelights with looms (RED very nice and rare) Front strut brace

I would carry on owning this car but have decided to use petrol before it goes up any more and bought an rx8. I don't see a prob with it passing MOT but need it gone as its upsetting the nieghbours I've already got a replacement.

Unfortunatly I've been offered more than that without both of those, if someone wants to offer £650 it can go with the decklid.

The sidelights were bought for £25 each side without the looms from MRT.

Are you willing to re-MOT it? I notice that before you have had problems getting it through on emissions?

Is there any rust on the sills/underneath?

No problems, it passed first time last time and the time before. The garage before that didnt warm it up properly I think. This garage let me sit there and I got it in after my drive to work so it was warm.

It would be up for more if I re-MOT'ed it and I still would'nt get much for it as people cant get past the mileage. It has fairly fresh leads, coil and dizzy on there and the cat is only a couple of years old.

Its still dirt cheap even if it did need anything. Which I dont think it will. But dont want to have to put another £50 into a car im selling very cheap.

It's just had a new battery last week which was £48 (Varta).

No real rust to mention but a few stone chips etc commensurate with age. Slight car parking dink in the passenger door. Sills are fine as are the arches.

Nearer to £900 dependant on if it needs anything to pass. I doubt it will but it pays to be prepared, plus the hassle and the cost of moting it.

Is it still insured so that you can take it for a quick spin with me as a passenger? I would probably take it without MOT and take the risk.

Its insured 3rd party only. Bit risky taking it out but can do dependent on the icy weather.
