What is wrong with the stock gen2 location? I can change oil and filter in 10 minutes. If you want annoying get a FWD 4AGE powered car.

I confess I find it a bit of a PITA with Toyota filters and a chain wrench. I used a K&N this time purely because of the head making it easier to get to with a socket set.

How big a job is it to relocate to a place where it's easier to access?

What ist wrong with the stock location is that it's right next to the downpipe coming of the hot side of the turbo. Obviously this means, that the oil Filter/Cooler gets very hot....something you don't really want

The oil lines should be at least 1/2 inch bore so they don't restrict the flow and you shouldn't really use 90° fittings or adapters with 90° oil passages
