If I am to get a 2nd hand alternator how many different models fit the rev 3 turbo are there just 2 different types? And does any1 know what amp alternator the rev 3 turbo runs and what the plug looks like just have not had time to get the car apart to see it and need replacement ASAP

You need to check the plug first to see if it's round or oval

[rev3turbo]

rev 1/2 turbo are round plug , rev3 is oval plug

NA alternators are the same plugs as above but they are smaller than turbo (except NA auto)

you need a rev3+ turbo oval plug alternator

Rev1-2 Turbo have round plugs (round shape)

Rev3-5 have oval plugs (oval shape)

You can fit a Rev1/2 alternator to a Rev3 but you'll need to cut off the matching plug and splice it to your loom.
