Mac - I'll see you there around 11.15am. Hopefully we will see the power of the forum with a good MR2 turn out.

There must be at least 50 - 80 MR2 MK1's here in the north east, I pass then all the time around the Durham area. Please come along even if you are not a member, we are trying to build a strong MR2 community here in the north east. Weather you'r Black + White or Red + White it doesn't matter we are all equal when it comes to the 2's...!

Lets have a good turn out for Mac who is putting a lot of work into organising the MR2 Sunday Social meetings.

Cheers.

Really? I hardly see any - there's a white one that I see on the a690 now and again, and a lowered red one driven by a grey haired chap, that I see occasionaly on the A1. Other than that, you'd think they were extinct!

We must be hiding well :)

I have 32 email addresses on my system from Club members who own MK1's and live within the North East region, there must also be owners who aren't in the club.

If you own a MK1 and love it then come along on Sunday 4th.

Divent be boring man....!!!!

Eye I'll make sure he knows about it when he gets back, he'll probably see the listings on the forum anyway.

Belter, we could maybe go karting or do something similar after.

Mac what do you think, maybe give people even more of a reason to come along. I'll see what the deal is with North East Karting and get back, its normally about £30 per session, some people might and some won't, its up to you, I'll see if there is any other carie stuff going on on the 4th.

Kart Racing Near to Newcastle and Sunderland

Karting North East aim to provide you with a safe yet exciting karting experience using a modern fleet of 20 Eglem Thunderkarts. These karts were chosen as they are equipped with every safety feature possible yet they handle and perform superbly. We aim to provide a fleet of well maintained, reliable karts of equal performance.

Our purpose built track also features flood lights, which offer the opportunity of racing during evenings.

There's nothing quite like a bit of rivalry with your friends when it comes to Karting. Then again, they say that nice guys come last. So, the question is, do you have the competitive instinct and controlled aggression needed to finish first, or are you happy to look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes the chequered flag?

Warden Law, the circuit is challenging, wet or dry. It needs respect, sensible and productive use of the throttle when laying down the power from the 390cc Thunderkarts. Too much and you spin, not enough and you're behind. This is where motorsport starts. Treat it seriously, treat it as fun, but whatever you do, treat yourself

Karting North East can provide a unique and memorable multi-activity event incorporating the above activities or many more. Whether arranging a corporate event or a day out with a difference, we can tailor make a package to suit your requirements.

Arrive & Drive Sessions - £15 per person for 15 minute session

Even Better...!

Check this out. Barford Raceway near Barnard Castle has a meeting starting at 14.00pm which will work perfect in line with the meeting. I'm sure its only about a tenner to get in and its top oval dirt racing motorsport, propper grass roots stuff and often the best.

September
Sunday 4th (2:00pm)
Brisca FII Stockcars
Hot Rods English Championship Final
Banger Rods &
Brisca Ministox

Let me know what you guys think as its only down the road.
