£1300I bought this car in September 2010 i then fitted a new fuel pump, radiator, thermostat, number plates, windscreen, clutch slave cylinder, alternator belt,
cambelt and sparkplugs. I cut out all the rust and refabricated the front bumper bar, I also installed raybrig headlights and a janspeed stainless steel exhaust.I then had the car reaprayed as the lacquer was peeling in places.
I did not put the stripes or Toyota stickers back on after the respray as i prefer the minimal look, i still have the strips for the doors and wings if the new owner wants them.I had four good tyres fitted, on the original wheels.
I did the work over about 9 months and thoroughly went through the car looking for other problems, in this time i also changed the engine oil and filter, changed and flushed the coolant system, changed the gearbox oil, refreshed the brake fluid and clutch fluid.
After all that i then put the car through it an mot on june 5th 2011 and it passed with no advisories.I drove the car to france and germany shortly after putting it back on the road it did the whole trip 2500 miles with absolutely no problems.
After returning from Europe i installed a good 2nd hand gearbox along with a new clutch
It has been my fair weather car for the last year and been stored in a garage when not in use.
I have had a new mot done so now expires on the 5th june 2013, it passed with no advisories, the tax expires at the end of may but i can get tax at buyers expense, if required.The car now is in very good general condition, the interior is excellent with no rips or tears or any other nasty surprises.
