Southwest meet

Now that Japfest is over I'm looking to arrange an informal meet in Bristol for those who couldn't make it or gave up due to the queues

All are welcome!

I'm thinking about a large central meeting point where we can have a chat and look at each others cars before grabbing a bite to eat. Maybe a decent drive thrown in as well

I'm contemplating that a good meeting point would be the mall at cribbs causeway. There's shopping and restaurants there with lots of pubs around. There's also a huge amount of parking ... Including underground parking if it's raining. So we can all stay dry and park away from "normal" cars, lol. Thus avoiding the risk of people opening their doors into our cars, lol.

It's a great central meeting point which is very easily accessible from the motorways... Thoughts?

Just figured it gave us some flexibility depending on the weather and what people feel like. Plus meeting at a shopping centre means that if people bring partners they can wander off giving us all a good excuse to look at each others cars without getting an earful! Lol.

Hoping this isn't going to be in the last week of July, as the gf's family are coming down to stay for a week!

Up in the brecon beacons through most of July though which would make getting to Bristol easier.
