My Love affair with the SW20

Post by gtinash »

Hi all,

its been a while since I've been in an mr2, I have over the years bought and sold a few and always keep coming back to one, I have recently bought a rev3 that had one owner from new, to use as my new Daily whilst my Impreza is off the road for maintenance work.

Here is a short summary of my mr2 history, it all started in 2000 when I bought my first sw20 and fell in love with it, I have since moved onto bigger performance Jap cars, Supras, preludes, RX7, 300ZX, GTO, FTO, Imprezas, SC400, IS200, Evo, and mx5s

the mr2 always seems to be a good all rounder compromise as daily car, whilst allowing me to experiment with other performance Japanese cars

Love them indeed, i am quite impressed with the condition on this one, by far the cleanest one I've ever bought, will run it along side the Subaru for as long as I can (hopefully years to come)

Cheers, I am very taken with it, to the point that I am being rather choosy with what I do to it, so I don't bu88er up it's cleanliness

always loved the look of your 4th MR2, was one of my favourites

I see it's up for sale on ebay at the moment, looking a little different
