[Mk2 Turbo] Radio Expander

I bought an MR2 a week ago and have got a Sony Double Din stereo for it. However the radio doesn't appear to be working. Surely with a UK stereo fitted I don't need a radio expander?????

Any help appreciated.

As far as i know you still need the band expander to allow your radio to accept those higher frequencies.

If the radio is a UK model 88-108MHz then you do not need a band expander.
