First time on any forum over the last 10 years I've ever been spotted
and this time before I get my first post in (must be the pop and bang - a bit too much for my tastes tbh).
I'm on day 4 of ownership and have quite a few bodge jobs to rectify(like duct tape round the cold air intake pipe over what I assume to be a split, It needs a service badly as well as a very very good clean, the idles too high and it runs lumpy as hell until its been run down the road a bit, the screen wash does not work and there is the most annoying whistle from the stereo even when its off (previous owner printed off a fix from this very site).
Still makes me grin like a silly person every time I take it out

To double check, you were pulling into chelmer village retail park?
loved the sound of the exhaust, high pitched but also deep, what is it? if you do ever remove let me know!

I did indeed, popped into the retail park on route elsewhere Weds afternoon, I try and stay out of halfrauds, I always spend far too much in there
As to the make, not a clue at present but I'll be tinkering all weekend(weather permitting) so will see what I can find out and let you know, its helluva noisy in the cabin when you open it up....

FYI on the exhaust Baker,
Its a standard tubby back box with a cut/shut welded on decat on a butched mid section with welds on top of welds...
whoever did it even welded the exhaust mount in the middle of the back box 180 deg out so its useless..
Glad you queried it though, noticed I need to go shopping for a couple of cancer bars as well.
