Omori boost gauge install

Post by blaster1 »

Help please, I have my omori boost gauge in the dials and will be putting the in the car tomorrow. Got 5 metres of 4mm vac hose and a metal t piece. The hose seams to fit the back of the gauge snug but not overly tight. Hoping the pressure coming down the hose doesn't pop it off.

Main question is, where is the best place to connect the pressure feed? if any one has a pic that would be great as my mechanic skills are limited.

Thanks in advance,
Gaz

Anything that comes off the inlet manifold :thumleft:

If you're concerned about the snugness of the hose on the back of the gauge whack a cable tie on the end and pull it really tight.

Hi Gaz,

Yep stick a cable tie on the boost gauge, you aren't talking mega pressure so that will hold it no problem at all.

Not my engine but you should be t'ing in somewhere near where the furthest red hose appears to the right in this pic:

I'm sure that red one showing is correct but someone will be along to confirm or correct me soon :).
