Wiring electrics for new recurs into mr2

Post by gt4mayhem »

Hi guys just had some very nice recaro seats to put in the mr2
There seems to be a motor underneath for electric lumbar and has to bullet connectors on it... Just wondering where best place to source a live from that is powerful enough to work both the seats? Can I split into a wire from a live in the car rather than coming straight from the battrie?

I'd use a 30A relay, with an inline fuse.

Take a supply direct from the battery, (with the inline fuse close to the battery), through the relay, and on to the seats.

Wire the relay coil to an ignition controlled circuit.
