[Mk2] [Turbo] Faulty windows

Post by scoobyslayer »

Ive had a problem with my drivers side window control switchs for a while, it wont operate either of the windows, but the passenger side will open and close using the switch on that side. thinking it was just the drivers side switchs i replaced them... but its still the same. Both the old and replacement switchs work the door locks and wing mirrors though.

Then to make things worse, today the passengers window went down and refused to come back up!

basically im asking if this is a common problem and if theres a easy fix? any advice would be apriechiated :)
thanks

you gotta apply 12volts to the motors to see if thery're shot ah kid...could be a wet connection inside the window or switch.
