whats your thoughts on carbon wrap folks ??
as its my job so basically free im thinking bonnet but do i leave headlight out ?? over the roof , engine cover then middle of spoiler ? or should i just go for the whole centre of the car right through including bumpers ??
its a red car at the mo cheers

nice 1 mate ive been doing this for years and know by experience a xxxx job maybe looks tacky but a good job with top vinyl looks just like carbon parts ..

ah yes, just seen its your job! ignore my post then.

Yes, it can look very similar to real carbon, and sometimes better than real poor quality carbon fibre. I was thinking of getting a few panels done, but was put off by the price...£200 was the cheapest i could find to get the bonnet done. :roll:

tbf mate thats about the right price for a good quality job . cheapest i do roofs n bonnetts are around £120 but your talking saxo/fiesta jobs

I just thought that was too much.
You can buy real CF bonnets for not much more, and the wrap is only a 5 year life on average.

yeah your right mate but most of my customers do it for a few combined reasons 1 loks after original paintwork 2 dont need to tell dvla of colour change as its not a permanent thing and 3 most carbon bonnetts for £120 arnt very good flymsy look out of shape .
but i agree with you in my circumstances if i could get a good fitting carbon bonnett for £120 i would but then a again it only cost me that to wrap my whole car lol mmmmmm now theres an idea :idea:
