Thought the adverts made it look like a laugh, so far its just been stupid puzzle to be able to get tot he next level shot the hoardes that come at you, make some god dam annoying grunting noises everytime you jump and the aiming controls are pap.

I played it at the gadget show.. Wasn't very impressed really especially as they took like 102 billion years to finally complete it.

Check out the scores it has been getting on metacritic. It got a 0 from 1up. Quite a few 5 or below scores too.

I haven't played it but from the videos it looks like an utter mess!

sadly, after 17 years of waiting, it's crap. There is not much relation to the original "shoot everyone in the face" duke nukem that there used to be. Very dissapointed.

It is missing EVERYTHING that made Duke Nukem such an interesting game. The biggest issue is the competition we are used to quality games like COD etc the game play and the story line just aren't good I think I played for about 3 minutes before I walked away.

Who would have guessed it was going to be a shamless cash in on a dead franchise to push a crap game? Saw this one coming a mile off.

Duke Nukem was fine 17 years back, but things have changed, and more importantly gaming tastes have changed. Who wants a game with a few pixelated tittays in it? If I want boobs I have the internet and Spankwire!

They must have known this was going to die a death on release - but hoped nostalgia would clock them some sales. I cant believe anyone associated with the project felt it was any good, that is unless threy have only been playing Doom / Duke Nukem 3d for the past 17 years.

my brother got it yesterday, installed and enjoyed the one liners and old school gaming mentality.

I dont think its a bad game, i in fact quite like it as it takes me back to the hights of my gaming addiction, but no, it isnt quite the same as the other modern games i do however think its cool....

I was never much a gamer when I was a kid but I remember when at college some geeks gave me a copy of it emulated or something like that and I that it was mint. Kept getting caught by admin and getting my pc rights took off me. Problem was. I was doing a IT course. Guess that's why I'm pap with computers. Then. Took me 2 friggin hours to figure to move the staute to climb up and get to the level above grrrrrr.
