Hi all

Unfortunately due to me needing to get some work done on my house im having to put my MR2 up for sale :|

Shes a Black 1998 S reg N/A 127400 Miles on the clock Taxed until 31/10/11 & MOT 15/11/11.

T Bar with bags no leaks, leather seats, very clean inside as you can see from the pictures.

Engine & Suspension are all standard.

The car runs very well never had any problems at all, listed below are the bits ive done to the car during my ownership.

1/5/10 Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD 7" dvd/radio with SD card slot.
Alpine SPR-60C Type-R Front speakers

15/5/10 New Air & Fuel filters,Distributor cap & rota arm

26/6/10 CRN Grooved Discs fitted with new pads

29/6/10 New Radiator & Thermostat with toyota forlife fitted by Luke @ Pacific works

3/7/10 Alpine SPG-10C2 rear spekers fitted

24/9/10 oil & filter change with NGK BKR6EP-8 Spark plugs

2/10/10 New Crystal Headlights & Side lights

6/10/10 New amp & sub fitted behind passenger seat.

3/11/10 New Mongoose 3.5 Exhaust with cat fitted

Nov 2010 Speedhut dials fitted.

Rota D1 alloys purchsed from a member on imoc.

Car will have an oil & filter change this week.

Yes it is shinny, tired selling my leon but with no luck so have no option but to try & sell the 2 now :(

Well, when I viewed this car last year it was spot on... I can normally find lists of things wrong with most SW20s, but I found almost nothing on this one. I drove exactly as it should and as I've owned three rev5 NAs previously I'd like the think I've got a fair idea about that :wink:

Assuming you've not ruined the car in the last 14 months (which I severely doubt, looking at the care that's gone into it) I can happily recommend this motor to any potential buyer :thumleft:

You know, I'm getting rather tempted to buy this myself... not that I need a second mkII, but this is a great example! :thumleft:

that doesnt look like a mongoose exhaust... more like a Magnex

very nice car, I wish such examples were around when I was hunting for a car! good luck with the sale.

If you look on jap-spec-performance.co.uk they sell two versions of the Mongoose exhaust twin 3" round or as on my car 3.5" rolled-in..basically its the tail pipe off the Blueflame i think.

Hello Ian,

Whereabouts in London are you?
What are the sills like?
Any suspension knocks/rattles?
Does it burn oil?
Do you have the standard wheels?
Would you sell it without all the I.C.E.?

Hi Steve im in pinner just off the A40
I think there has been some previous work on the sills
no knocks or rattles of any kind
car doesnt burn oil at all
sorry only got these wheels
& dont know why you wouldnt want the 7" dvd player :)
think i might have the original radio

the car drives very well never had a problem with it, your quite welcome to pop over & have a look anytime steve take it for a spin.

yes i have a service book with about 11 Toyota stamps...MOTs going back until 2001...loads of paperwork
