I take it you've tried jump/boost starting it in case of the old low battery/fecked alternator scenario?

if the efi fuse breaks the engine light wont come on, so if the fuses are ok then theres probably a loose connection or broken wire somewhere in the efi circuit.... Just chase the wires, im sure you'll come accross it...

cheers all for advice got it sorted now. I had an imobilzer fitted on sat and the bloke who fit it wired the thing to the wrong wiring on old imobilizer connection. #-o #-o who ever owned the car b4 me took it out but didnt take the wires out so the bloke thought it was part of the exsisting wiring loom, and it tripped out causing it to cut off any power to the ignition, any way im sorted now but cheers to you robbie for offering to come and have a look at for me mate :) :) i have just got to get the passanger window working now but i know what that is  im happy now i got her runing again i was realy fed up thinking she was gonna sit on the drive all week.

Bl00dy immobilisers!!! I have one on my car that has a switch under the dash, if you flick it with the engine running it wont start up again. Rather annoying/embarrising when I thought I had a flat bettary and had to call my mate round to my house with his jump leads, even after charging from his car for 10 mins I still couldnt get the bu88er started, that is until I flicked the switch and hey presto. Needles to say I had the pi5 taken out of me for a few days!!
