running intercooler fan constantly

Post by obster »

Hi guys,

i have got an upgraded intercooler and am going to be getting the shroud and spal fan to go with it. i have read somewhere that there is a relay you can fit in to make the intercooler fan run constantly while the engine is running. is this true and if so does it need to be a special relay and how would i do it?

cheers :)

to get the fan running constantly, just pull the temperature sensor plug out, it's the black sensor on the engine lid. No point though because at speed the fan will be pushing against the incoming air as it runs down through the side vents. 50mph+ generates more cooling air than that fan ;)
