I need to go down to one AW11 from 2 so I have to sell one of them.
I am offering an MR2 in need of new arches. I have already done a ton of welding to repair the sills so ideally I'm looking for a buyer who is looking for a car to fix up. The car currently has some things like a Jimi throttle bracket installed that I would like to move over to my other car.
The car currently has no radio fitted but I have a good radio to fit to my car so will put the standard one I am currently using back in this car when I do. If people really want the jimi bracket i'll leave it there.The engine was replaced when I had it with a low mileage japanese unit from API.
The engine in here is really nice and runs well. If I didn't have to sell it I would be keeping the engine as a spare for my other one. I've replaced a rusty wing with a new one.
It is painted with Toyota paint but the rest of the car is a little faded so could use a T-cut.The car has no tax or MOT.
It is currently located in Eddie/Rob's barn in Fordingbridge for those members of the mk1 club that know them. I would have to arrange to meet anyone who wants to view the car to meet them there. I know the car isn't worth a lot but I'd really like it to go to an enthusiast who will fix it or do something fun with it rather than someone who will just break the car.
There is tape on the arches so it should pass the MOT. The only reason it doesn't have one is because it's been in the barn for over a year now. It ran great when I put it in there so anticipate no mechanical problems.I'll start at looking for around
£150 for it but I will consider offers.
