Hi all...
Just passing on some info from our friends in the Mk1 club.

The Kent Coast Run is an up and coming event organised by the Mk1 club but open to all revisions.

Based along the same lines as the earlier "Brighton Run" this year which i think attracted 43 cars... =D>
So sign up and be a part of a great day out of DRIVING your MR2 ! - oh and stops for pub lunches etc etc

Sunday August 14th MR2 Kent Run
The MR2 Kent Run is routed around the Kent countryside. Starting at the Eureka Business Park, Ashford. Located just off J9 M20. The run will take you through the Romney Marshes to Duneness where we will stop for lunch then continue through Rye and Tenterden before heading back to the starting point in Ashford.

Depart the services at 12:30pm - so aim to get there at midday !!

put me in that list somewhere, wanted to go last year but missed out and going by the pics from last year i missed a good gathering!

i'll make the effort to come this year mind with the MR2 turbo, if only my Mk1 could come along for the ride too *sniff*

Kent Coast Run was a great hit last year, we are hoping this year the numbers will grow to match the Brighton Run.

Hopefully Pete will have his SC back as well, so we can both bring our MR2's along.

If anyone has any questions about the run let us know, we will let you know meet point and time asap.

Yeah i should be there for this one if i (read: Andi) am not fixing any damaged i've caused at totb. Those that know me know i have little or no mechanical sympathy.

wish i knew when TOTB was so i could arranged getting there and stuff looks cool!

men and motors covered it last year so maybe they'll show Mark's car going up in flames this year, fingers crossed a mark

would love to mark but work won't let me go early! i come out of work at 6pm and the nearby hotels are booked up and ones that aren't don't like people arriving past 11pm

5 hour bloody drive too! next year i will though! missed to many events last year so done JAE defo doing the kent coast run and gonna attend any others i can too!
