Don't know if anyone saw the stuff released by team failOverflow last week but it was just a matter of time.

That's what some of my mates do, DL for the JT 360 and if they like it and want to go online buy the PS3 version. I got given a JT 360 and after 2 weeks of it collecting dust I powered it up to play the R-Type remake and completed Limbo then returned it as I couldn't see it being used any futher as all my mates are on PSN (Limbo is one of the coolest games I played last year) and would happily buy both if the lazy devs released them on PSN. I've managed to get hold of a couple of YLOD'd PS3's for £20 and repaired them so if I was that bothered about pirating I would have hung on to one and Jailbroke it but I don't have a problem with buying games (different when I was younger but didn't have as much money back then and played an ikle part in the Amigas destruction ) Got 50+ in my PS3 collection and money well spent (bar a couple of stinkers that I need to trade in) Piracy is going to be a motive to a large percentage of it's user base, personally I hope it doesn't happen along with game hacks and cheats, time will tell I guess. I just want otherOS back so can revert my PS3 back to the machine that once did everything I wanted/needed.
I used to get a crack round the back of my head when I was younger for "taking without asking" or a slap on my hand if it was my mum as she was a bit softer on us, shame Sony didn't stop and think about "the small percentage" of users they were about to p1$$ off by removing linux, despite having restricted access to the PS3's resources it kept "the small percentage" happy and removing it certainly got the ball rolling on what's unfolding.
EA are robbing skum though so I encourage everyone to copy their stuff and then it's not too bad paying 10 quid or whatever it is they charge for the online pass
