What do you hate about mr2 ownership
All pros aside, what annoys you most? Couple for me Is price of spares and lack of staggered wheel choice

Re: What do you hate about mr2 ownership
Price of spares? These cars are amongst the cheapest to run right now.
Just have a look at the amount been broken you can get virtually anything you need for a decent price.
At the moment

My hate is the tin foil sills that rust like a Mk1.
Will probably be responsible for the end of a lot of Mk2's.

Re: What do you hate about mr2 ownership
It's just things like rear calipers something I'd rather have new and I got a quote for a windscreen the other day because mine has cracked over winter
£520

Re: What do you hate about mr2 ownership
Position of Oil Filter on my Rev2 as my hands found out today lol.

Re: What do you hate about mr2 ownership
Try a small local place instead then- iirc a replacement screen for my mk2 was
~£100 fitted- but you do need to shop around.
The national firms quoted me similarly dumb prices to you.
.
.I think it's cos most of the work they do is on insurance, so get away with it.

I hate all the pointless debates about what's better- a v6 or a turbo

Re: What do you hate about mr2 ownership
The way the undertrays are attached - doesnt matter how careful I am every time I remove an undertray thats never been off before at east one bolt snaps even though its had wd40 on - grrrrr!!! How much would it of cost to either use plastic clips or at lesst stainless bolts (which is what I always put back)?
Ashtray has a light but not the glovebox???????!!!!!
As mentioned brake sliders seem very prone to stickyness

This is why its best to get a import

Rev1/2 oil filter problem can be solved with an oil filter relocation kit

I've a 97 import dude and it has been bitten by the tin worm.

They nearly always rust from the inside out which means by the time it's noticeable it's nearly too late.

Re: What do you hate about mr2 ownership
