Re: Finding Wheels From Other Makes for your Two
i just tried a set of wheels of the skyline, PMSL
the off set was way out lol.
so now i know alloys that are to fit the skyline will not fit the MR2

You sure? Sure I've seen plenty of MR2 MK2's running black/anthracite skyline wheels from an R32

from that guide:

Skyline R32/R33/R34 PCD 114.3x5 ET40 CB 66.1

Re: Finding Wheels From Other Makes for your Two
yeah i have a set of stock R32 alloys in the garage.
(i have works on the car.
) the off set was way off the tyre was rubbing the shocks.

Not due to incorrect tyre sizes fitted to the wheels to suit the MR2?

Re: Finding Wheels From Other Makes for your Two
from another source on the spec of skyline R32 wheels:

Standard sizes

Front 8x16
Rear 8x16

225/60/16 front
& rear

No wonder they rub lol if that's whats fitted

If you fitted the fronts with 205/40/16, with them being 8" wide, you may require spacers due to offset

Re: Finding Wheels From Other Makes for your Two
I'm running R32 wheels on my MR2, 8" wide R32 GTR wheels on the back and 6.5" wide R32 GTS wheels on the front.

Offsets are just about perfect
- only thing I had to do was get some custom spigot rings fitted to ensure they were centred on the hubs properly.
Tyres are 225/45R16 rear and 205/45R16 front.

The GTR wheels are forged so very light, lighter than the cast fronts ironically.

!
Annoyingly the GTS wheels are a lighter shade of grey and than the GTR ones so I got them refurbed to make them match.
