Mines Black Box!

Anyone seen one of these? found this laying inder the ECU in the boot of my Mk1 SC when i bought it! its obviously an upgrade for the ECU management, surprised to see it as Mines is a Nissan tuning company!Image[/img]

Not that it's much help, but I had a Mines ECU on one of my SCs, which looked totally different to that one - it was a full ECU replacement with its own vacuum pipes to monitor manifold pressure.

I'm sure someone has seen one of those before though...

I can't see it having any major functions with their only being 4 wires going to it, two of those will be power and earth, so i'd guess the other two are clipping a sensor to give a false reading to "adjust" fuelling.

If you could post a close-up photo of the white connector so I could see where the 4 coloured wires go it should be easy enough to figure out what signals are being tampered with.

4 wires sounds like an FCD right enough.
