Ha ha, never actually seen one of those.

The seller wonders if someone with MR2 mania would like to add this low-grade model to their collection....

A prospective buyer asks if its equipped with an LSD :clown:

You sound like a handy 'Jap friendly' person to know :thumleft:

Good find Toni, wonder how much that would be to get into the UK

70K yen is only around £530, peanuts and it looks in really good nick.

Hey Toni, while i'm on, where is your TC at these days? Has it been abandoned or still getting done? Seems like it's been ongoing for 5 or 6 years! Any updates?

I'm just saving it from being a 1.5.

Seriously, there's not that much more to do, but it's a 'fill in' car for when Rogue aren't flat out, and during the racing season they're flat out all the time... :(

the AW10 was a continuous low spec model run along side the AW11 and not as many think the previous model to the AW11

Just for interest I asked a freindly jap car imported how much it would be to get a car like this oen over, here is the breakdown:

Hi Ollie thanks for getting in touch, that particular car would work out to around £2,225 landed including VAT & import Duty, you would only need to add as below to make it road legal

£75 Customs agent fee
£50 Mot
£20 speedo converter
£230 Registration and road tax
£25 number plates
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

I am intrigued by the comment 'low spec'. Don't get me wrong, I adore my car but I am under no illusion with it's spec. It has Central Locking, electric windows and, er, um, seats? Hardly luxurious. My trusty Mondeo has a much high spec

The AW10 was also sold in the States I recall so might be cheaper to get one from there if anyone's desperate! But a carb fed single cam engine, no rear spoiler and steel wheels aren't exactly high spec!
