While driving over Salisbury Plains a while ago, i didn't notice a small dip in the road immediately before a sharp incline.

The result was a nasty

"crunch" sound from the front nearside area, like metal on metal and means whenever I go over anything too harsh the

"crunch" sound returns.

I have taken the car to 2 garages and none can find a fault.

I personally have changed the struts and springs.

Top mounts appear to be ok as does all the other gubbings around the hub.

I have also checked the mounting plates on the chassis, again all appears to be ok.

The only thing I can think of is the Anti-roll bar, possibly it's bent or the bushes have gone? Has anyone got any idea's as I'm all out?? Don't really want to go to another garage as they are charging me for not finding the fault!!!

Help and advice appreciated
Ian
