[Mk2] [Turbo] Wheel Alignment....Help

Post by rolylane »

The repair continues!!

I thought I had finished, I was wrong! :(

The now very shiny yellow tubby went to get all the alignments sorted yesterday and although it is now feels like it used to before the knock, it does not pull to the left anymore. It has presented another problem!

It now looks like the near side wheel sits 5 mm further back than the other side in the arch and now rubs on full lock. Alittle frustrated as I see this when I stripped it down  (only a small difference though)

I think it is the wish bone, can anyone confirm?

I would double check all suspension componet nuts and bolts for tightness, then I would of thought it could only be the top mount for the strut, lower ball joint or the lower arm and/or lower arm bushes.
