After looking undernieth the car I saw that on the crank shaft pully, the belt furthest away from the engine is missing.
Does anyone know which belts these are?Regards

Snapped Belt
I heard a loud bang while driving the other day and looking in my rear view mirror I saw what looked to be an aux belt rolling a long the road behind me!
After looking undernieth the car I saw that on the crank shaft pully, the belt furthest away from the engine is missing. Does anyone know which belts these are?

If your car has air conditioning then the belt furthest away from the engine is for the aircon compressor. The next one in is the alternator and then further in behind some plastic covers is the cambelt.

Yeh it has air con so it must be that belt. I dont think im going to bother replacing it just yet. Cheers for letting me know
