Install this valve and you can drain your engine oil without tools and without mess. Just lift the lever of this solid brass ball valve and give it a quarter turn to open it. Return the lever to its original position and it locks closed, double sealed to prevent leakage. The Engine Oil Drain Valve is made of corrosion resistant forged brass and stainless steel. The ball valve design provides a straight flow for efficient drainage and a perfect seal when closed. Frozen drain plug and stripped threads are eliminated forever. Drawing samples for oil analysis is as easy as one-two-three.
The one im buying: F106 Just really putting this out there for people who hate all the fuss and mess of changing there oil. Just trying to help
Ok i guess, first thought was it'd get whacked off by road debris but looks like it's tucked up out of the way, you wont get a socket on it though so it'll be a spanner job.
I'd make sure your happy with the security of the release lever as well.

i'm NOT for this just seen it on another forum and wanted to see what you guys thought of it
What an utter load of rubbish
Wasn't dreamt up by an American was it? !0 seconds and a 14mm spanner as apposed to that abortion? I know which I'll be going with thanks
Hmm, looking at the pic it looks like it has the same style blanking cap / dust cap screwed in as I use on hydraulic valves -so looks like you need an allen key to take the dust cap off anyway? Kind of defeats the point when all it takes is a few turns with a spanner or oil plug key.

No, I think there's a hole through that cap, judging by the GIF at the start of the post.
Still utter rubbish though
How much time will this actually save you? 20-30 secs?? versus Potential for valve to leak/seize/ get knocked open by a wayward stone/speed bump etc.
Junk.
