have you dynoed at Surrey rolling road?
do you want to see you power curve results compared to other mr2s??
or even against other machines like the supra and GT4.
if so, pm me pics of your dyno graphs....and a brief mod list, and boost level. or just pop this info on this thread.
unfortunatly can only do these for cars dynoed at Surrey Rolling Road....
doesnt matter if youve a stock car, whether ryan or yourself tuned the car, even other tuners, but just needs to be done on SRR....
this is ideal for comparing your plots against other mr2s in all states of tune.
n/a, turbo, v6, doesnt matter!
let me know and ill try and get your plots uploaded so you can easily compare your power curves to others.....
heres an example and what you could see....
my old rev2 turbo, with ct20b, powerFC Vs my recently mapped Rev5 turbo

MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*

Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
Why just Surrey? Surely it should be available to any Dyno Dynamics RR users? I can fully understand having the strictness as there are some terrible dynos out there, but all Dyno Dynamics are spot on from my experience.

Calibrations on each dyno can change too - air pressure due to altitude and even the fans blowing on the cars.
SRR is generally thought to be the best in the country.

Fair point I guess, but not everyone on here is going to afford/be able to drive down Surrey for it. I think it should be possible for everyone to join in, and perhaps put on the description maybe a disclaimer that it's a Dyno Dynamics dyno elsewhere in the country? Otherwise not many people will be able to compare.
Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
this was ryans request dude....to keep it SRR.
SRR also is an independant RR afaik, not attached to any tuning garage. so the results from each car doesnt matter one blind bit to the guys are SRR, they have nothing to gain from a good or bad result.
am not sure if charlie actually maps, or whether its just tuners who choose to use his dyno. am just going off ryans request dude....
either way mr2nut123, you plotted your results on there anyway in your thread

But, also, he is not asking for everyone - just those at SRR. If you've been there, great. If you've not, then still great, just don't contribute.
You can only compare cars when there's a constant. In this case, it's Surrey RR. I've not been there, but I will one day, as it's a benchmark.

Jim
You want us to PM SRR dyno prints to you, is that correct?

No worries. Could the software/idea be used possibily in another thread for us Northerners in a seperate thread then? I just feel as much as your right about keeping a standard on these comparissons, that it should be a community thing offered to all members of IMOC that's all?
Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
pm me or just pop them on this thread....
just doing ryan a favour
when i get a chance, i can get them on there....
ps, apexi turbo and cams certainly give me a slight edge

youd have to ask ryan about the software hes using, ive no idea what it is, or where you get it, all im doing is inputting numbers on his website, lol...im not doing anything remotely technical, lol.

I've got one for my car, but it was a bit poorly at the time. Going back end of March with issues fixed at which point I will do a run on the rev3 turbo ecu followed by a run on the ST205 ecu to demonstrate the differences in the map.
Anyway here's mine as it was in July last year, if that's any use to you:
Edit: Sorry, just read you want a spec. Mostly stock Rev3, with blitz decat, fujitsubo legalis r, apexi intake and celica chargecooler. 0.9 bar on the dyno from memory.

Built engine, TGT Charge cooler, Apexi intake, Mongoose, Berk Decat.
Just a note the boost has not been raised with boost controller
