Super Nail road going/ track ready MR2.Converted to a 2litre Turbo last year using a 3sgte from a MK2 MR2.

& Tight uprated front and rear anti-roll barsAnd, best of all, a custom designed, made and fitted LEDA coilover suspension with Eibach springs, fitted, corner weighted and set up by LEDA themselves.
This gives absolutely excellent road holding and track ability but absorbs bumps etc.
better than a typical Koni / 30% uprated springs job even with the stiffer rating springs due to the quality of the damping damping is adjustable on car + both damping ratios and spring rates are able to be altered by LEDA et al to any preference.Mac 1 Motorsport have fitted a very discrete but strong 6 point rear roll cage.
Hardly visible until you peer behind the seats but strong, safe and welded in to chassis points to increase torsional stiffness of shellBad points: Though generally pretty good for rust front chassis and sills in good condition there are some spots over rear arches which will need fixing up
- but dont yet need replacement plus some bubbling on the window surround and the T Bar roof leaks (surprise surprise).The car pops out of third gear when holding a steady speed.
i.e, it's fine under acceleration and lift off. (As below a spare gearbox is available f.o.c...)Paint work looks good except for a few stone chips, minor swirls/ scratches as per usual for older cars
+ some.Interior is standard with dash etc.
complete but the carpet has been stripped out re. track work (though trim pieces, sound deadening material etc. are still in (could be re-carpetted easily).The car still has a way to go to be a perfect conversion however it runs very well indeed, is super quick and is taxed and insured to be used on the road.
This car handles exceptionally well, it really is awesome on track being able to keep with much newer, dearer, higher spec vehicles.
With all modifications stated, I have this car insured on a kit car policy for just over
£300.If required it will come with a spare gearbox and fairly complete engine which muct be collected from Wigan.
Loads of other spares will be thrown in too.I really need a quick sale on this so it is priced in accordance:
£1750.00 including spare engine, gearbox and any other spares I have to hand as long as they can be collected from Wigan within a couple of weeks.The car can be viewed in either Newcastle or East Manchester.
